Web application developer must have experience building flexible, cross-browser compatible, scalable web applications with 1-3 years of experience using: • Backend object oriented Perl and Catalyst • Backend MySql • Frontend Javascript (ideally experienced w/ at least one UI framework) • Frontend css and html (ideally xhtml / strict) • (Admin) Linux server troubleshooting and basic admin • MVC design pattern (ideally using an existing framework, not roll-your-own) • ORM database wrappers • Templating, Template Toolkit • PHP • Catalyst (Web Framework) • Payment Gateway integration

Amarus Entertainment, a division of Amarus International Inc., is a young and dynamic entertainment company with a new and exciting web entertainment offering. We are a fast growing young company looking for a LAMP Front-End Web Developer who has also experience in back-end development. You must be able to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and be driven to be the best. You will be an integral part of a group of passionate, team-oriented people. We are looking to enlarge our web-team with an experienced Perl developer with extensive experience in Object Oriented Perl, Catalyst, PHP,mySQL and JavaScript. This developer will be a self-driven worker with attention to detail. You will also need proven experience working on UI (or designing user interfaces/experiences). Tasks include: • Designs, develops and implements software for website. • Develops installation programs for websites. • Reviews, analyzes and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing debugging, and installing to support the company's application system. • Determines size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, selects styles and size of type, and arranges layout based on space available. • Troubleshoots debugs and implements software code. • Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. • Writes documentation to describe program development, logic, coding and corrections. • Provides support to end users on a variety of issues. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems with systems and hardware.
