iPost is looking for a top-notch Perl web developer to join its team in San Rafael, California. As a Senior Developer youll be responsible for software architecture, code quality and coding standards, and design and implementation of new features. Youll also be responsible for taking on a leadership role within the team and mentoring other team members. You will be required to be in the office for the first six months of this position. Following that telecommuting may be possible. Things youd be doing: Develop and deploy high-performance, high-availability web applications using Perl and Javascript Design and implement the M, V and C of client- and staff-facing user interfaces Design queries against a high-volume database Design and document effective software architectures Work with other departments to understand product and project requirements Serve as technical lead on a project basis Design, define, and perform test processes This application is your first task for the company.
